More than likely the factory amp(located under the drivers seat) has failed. All speaker wires feed into it, but only the rear speakers are amplified. They are cheap and fail, so it may be wise to just replace/upgrade to an aftermarket stereo. If you feel good about wiring, you can rewire the amp connections to bypass it, or there is a couple sites that offer bypass cables.
Need a little more information: After-market or factory stereo? Are you doing speakers as well? Do you know if any wiring will need repair?
No they should be fine.
In my 1995 Metro there is no clock, other than the one that is in the stereo. If the stereo is bad, just replace it. You will need a new stereo, a wiring harness if you don't want to hack up the old factory harness, and a install kit to make the stereo fit in the hole if the old stereo is factory. Then just follow instructions included with these parts.
whats the wiring color codes for my 98 sentra radio
If you replace the factory stereo and the van has a factory equalizer, you will need to remove the equalizer as well. The factory stereo/equalizer package is essentially one unit in two different cases. Neither is designed to work without the other. Best of my knowledge, neither will work without the other.
