no you do not have to. you just take the action replay out carefully and then search for the game if it does not reconise it in that other menu and then use the cheats.
PS: look carefully for how to use the cheats in the game.
pss: once you turn the game off the cheats auto matically disappear so you will have to put the cheats on the game again.
When you use an action replay 99% of the time your save file will be corrupted and you will have to start the game over.
No you dont.
only if you have action replay or you start over
Yes. With action replay or hacking. (Hacking is bad for your game. You might even have to start your game all over).
there could be a few reasons for it. one is that the action replay does not have the game in its game roster, and another is that if you started a new game on a ds game while the action replay was in the ds, then it deletes the codes from the action replay and you have to get all of the codes all over again. i figured the second one out the hard way.
You can not get it on Game cube only on WII but the game cube games
There are some action replay codes to change your name to Dialga and a couple that have concequences and your name changes to ???? but other than that I don't think you can change it after you start a new game.
action replay works by intercepting the game from talking to the system and telling it to listen to it instead of the game. it will do nothing to the game itself, it may however make you console get slower over time and can mess up you files you save while using the action replay.
You should just turn it off and then take the action replay out and then blow on it and then put it back in and start over on the code. (If you were typing a code)
trading over a different game, action replay, or (maybe) a Nintendo event
No Yes and you can find action replay codes for the action replay for heartgold ans soulsilver all over the internet.
action replay is a very risky tool for gaming. as Nintendo and Game-freak specifically design their games to attempt to prevent action replay from working, action replay more often than not can wreck your game. while playing Pokemon diamond I used the walk through walls cheat, and it erased all my data and made it impossible to save. It may also wipe all data from the cartridge or get you stuck in a place called the "mystery zone" unless you can afford to buy a new copy of Pokemon and start all over again it's a very bad idea. as every time I used action replay it has done something bad to my game I wouldn't advise it.
