Depends on the bleach, how much colour is on the hair etc. Probably around 40 minutes, you will probably need to tone the highlights and you'll DEFINITELY need to keep checking. For a caramel you should lift your hair to an orange-yellow colour, then tone.

In order to go back to a natural color from blue, you will need to bleach and then tone your hair. You need to bleach and then use a color that has a neutral sandy tone to it.
