Only if you have the camera. You can use FaceTime, an app that comes with the iPod with camera. You can video chat with other iPod touch users or with people on computers with FaceTime.
download the phone app.then click facetime.
No, you do not need a phone service to use FaceTime on an iPod Touch. FaceTime relies on Wi-Fi, so as long as your iPod Touch is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can make and receive FaceTime calls. However, you will need an Apple ID to use FaceTime.
iPod Touches do not use telephone lines. iPod touches use Wi-Fi routers.
Original Answer by Chohw0916 Edited by Arianna Lovendino For now, yes. Facetime is only available to iPhone 4. As far as I know, however, Apple is working to make Facetime available on the 3G network. I hope this helps.
Only apple based phones like the iPhone 4 but even with the apple phones you need to be careful that they are updated so that face-time becomes available. the iPod touches also have it but only when they are updated. the iPad 1 and 2 also have it automatically downloaded. :)
no because on facetime you can only use it on other iphone 4s
The difference between the Iphone 4 and the iPod Touch is that the iPhone is techincally a iPod, but with phoning capabilities. Also, the iPhone 4 can use FaceTime, a app that use video calling. Also, the newest iPod has FaceTime too. So, both the iPhone and the iPod are both the same.
The iPod Touch can use FaceTime (See links below) to video chat with people on Macs.
Well, You must get the 4g iPod touch exactly, Then you will find the Facetime icon usually on the left top of your first page, then simply click it and if you have an email address type it then you can check it nice and easy.
No, not like video chat on your email. But of you have the iPod Touch 4th generation you can use FaceTime, which is pretty much video chatting but the other person must have an iPhone 4, the 4th gen iPod touch, or a newer Mac with the FaceTime application.
I dont think so. But you can use FaceTime :)
