Those whom we see who are hungry, thirsty, naked, ill or imprisoned and we feed them, quench their thirst, provide them with clothing, nurse them and visit them, then we do these things for Jesus Himself. Jesus also exhorts us to tend to the needs of anyone whatever their station in life, especially those whom general society considers to be the lowest of the low because they are in most need of His help, mercy and compassion. He exhorts us to act selflessly; our reward is in the deeds that we have done.
