they got a LG 55 inch wireless HDMI TV for $1,554.96 on amazon. The best place for your TV isn't always near the cable. Wireless 1080p Connectivity lets you cut loose from messy wires and still get a stunning Full HD picture anywhere you put the TV.
Look on the back of the TV for a HDMI input connection. If it is there, your TV is capable of receiving a HDMI signal.
It will have a HDMI or a component connectors.
Head over to your local electronics store to purchase a PC to TV wireless link. The experts there will be able to recommend the best option for you and will often come over and install it. If you know what you want, and how to install it look on websites such as eBay or Amazon.
Yes you can, it's called an hdmi audio adaptor
If you have HDMI and a Sony HDTV the TV remote will work on the PlayStation 3 Slim. I don't know if the TV remote will work on other HDTVs, but I do know that only the PS3 slim has the HDMI sync. It is also possible to use the PS3 controller as a remote to play the DVD
I'm having a little trouble with my HDMI settings. No matter how many cables I use or what I try to change, the TV simply refuses to play the sound. I know it can play sound through the HDMI set up so it's not a matter of the audio being broken (I hope). I had the same issue with an ouya (that has a sort of sound test thing, which was the sound I used to find out if the TV could actually play sound through the HDMI port or not) and an xbox 360 and it's just driving me mad. I don't know just what my TV is but apparently it's a Murphy, it's most likely a 22-24 inch and it only has one HDMI port. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?
Purchase a HDMI cable either made for the PS3 or some name brand recommended for 3D HDTV . Plug it in and make sure that your PS3 has the latest updates so it has the 3D updates already. Slim PS3 have the HDMI sync and that should make set up easier, but you will need to set the setting to let the PS3 know it is connected to a 3D HDTV
HDMI cables are used as digital video and data links between video sources and televisions. HDMI is compatible with DVI interfaces so if the laptop has a DVI output, a DVI to HDMI cable can be used. If the laptop does not have HDMI or DVI, then there is no way to connect the VGA output to an HDMI input. There are several USB based video displays that can be purchased to connect to the laptop. The display can be used as a copy of the internal screen or it can extend the desktop across both screens. Select a display port that has either DVI or HDMI outputs.
The TV decides whether it is a "i" or a "p". The cable will pass both types of signals.
I'm guessing that you want to know why a TV needs more than one HDMI input. You could have one HD input from your cable or satellite provider, and then you might have another HD input from your DVD or BlueRay player.
HDMI is currently the best connection you can use. Actually, VGA is the best because it is easy to hook your PC up to you're TV. In fact I'm using it right now! P.S. If any one wants to hook up their TV and their PC, then let me know, I will give them the instructions.
Generally not. However I have found that a small number of videos online will allow streaming from my droid x to my tv via the hdmi cable. You will know if a video can do this when you play it if the hdmi icon appears in the upper-left of the phone. You click the button and it will connect and play on the tv. My guess is that it relates to the file format of the source video, and whether it is compatible with the droid x's hdmi output. For example, I can view videos all day from youtube on the phone... but haven't found any that are hdmi compatible. So the bottom line is "sometimes" but usually "no"
