Best Answer

No because if you do, it will start to smell and could cause infection.

Also, if you did it would be there forever if you didn't move it.

Answer 2No, because if you do it would start to smell and cause infection, but not only that the Mother hamster will likely eat them, and after she eats them she will probably get diarea and will eventually die.

Syrian hamsters are the largest of the hamsters. Keep that in mind when purchasing the cage be it plastic, wire or glass. All other small animals such as mice and geribils may fit in a hamster cage .It really depends on the type of cage you have and are planning to buy.

Do hamsters hybennate?

In the wild, yes they do. However domestic hamsters usually only hibernate in extreme cold weather. I have had four hamsters and only one went into hibernation. When hamsters hibernate they can easily be mistaken to be dead. One thing you must not do is use a hairdryer to try and wake it up. You shoud just leave it to wake naturally.

Can hamsters eat other hamsters?

Yes, most likely when a mother has babies.Only some others like older ones are just aggressive. So make sure if you want 2 in one cage make sure they are social and are a non-aggressive species. When you have baby hamsters with a mother it is best for you to not touch them. Your smell will stick to the baby hamsters. The mother will become frightened and will attack the baby hamsters if necessary. Some of the weaklings will get eaten too.

How do you separate the brothers and sisters hamsters?

you would seperate the brothers abd sisters by just putting the males in a cage and the femles ina different cage also if they are syrian hamsters you would need alot of cages after they are at least 4 weeks to put them all in seperate cages because they can start breeding when they are about 3-4 weeks and their babies can come out deformed or even dead. hope this helped thanx.
