The newer Shox all come with + technology� not sure from what year on but I heard its all recent types Nike+ is a package with iPod that if you can track your workouts while listening to music. It checks your distance, pace, time and calories burn during your run/workout and can upload it online to track your progress. You don't need to have an iPod either to work, they have a sportband now too…
The "Nike+ Sportsband" is used for running. It basically give you stats while you run. It tracks your pace, time, distance and calories burned. There is a USB included that stores all the information. One thing to note is that you need to link your sensor (device that tracks your steps) to the band. It's one size and the price is around 50-60$.
