No you do not.

However, if you are greencard holder etc, you might want to carry it.

Because Alaska is part of the US, you don't really need a passport to go there unless you are driving through Canada or are from Another Country. Its like asking if you need a passport to go from Nevada to California....

Not if flying directly between US states or territories, or travelling by land or sea. As of June, 2008, US & Canadian citizens must have a government issued ID (driver's license, etc.) and proof of citizenship (birth certificate, naturalization papers). Things will change in June, 2009.
