You need drivers for the adapter. PS3 does not have. The only way to have wireless in you PS3 is integrated wireless.
Your PS3 must have a wireless adapter installed if you want to connect to the internet wirelessly. Otherwise, if you don't you will have to use an Ethernet cable. If you have a wireless adapter installed on your PS3. You will need to connect it to your wireless router. Go to the wireless network menu on your PS3. Find the (SSID) network name of your network. Connect to it!
Some PS3 have wireless network adapter installed and only what you need is to connect to your existing wireless network. Sony has not released a wireless adapter specifically for the PS3; however you may purchase a wireless internet bridge and connect that way. anonymous@oola.com
You can't.
All models of the PS3 include Wireless adapters except the first 20 GB model and I don't know if you can locate the Sony adapter for the early model.
If its formated for the PS3 I would think so, BUT the PS3 already has a built in wirless adaptor
You need a WiFi connection to the internet to be able to use the wireless connection in the PS3. For people without one and that already have an internet connection they can purchase a wireless router and connect it to the modem. You can also purchase a router and an ethernet cable and have a wired connection to the internet.
If you want to use wireless connection yes you need a wireless adapter.
As far as I know all PS3's game with a wireless internet adapter installed. You just need to go into your PS3 settings and find the Internet/Network Connection settings. Once you find that you can have the PS3 guide you step by step on how to hook up y0 PS3 to your wireless internet connection.
If you want to use internet wirelessly, yes you need a wireless router and a wireless adapter for your PC (usually laptops have it).
The converter adapter allows PS2 controllers to work with the PS3 or a PC.It probably wouldn't work on a wireless controller.
