you only need dialga in your team but you can if you want when i beat the elite four i had a alakazam staraptor empoleon dialga gengar and rapidash and i beat it in no time at all
You don't have to have a dialga in your team. you can go and beat the elite four with no legendary Pokemon at all. i went and beat them without a legendary easily. but i had a level 70 or higher fearow. you don't need one of those either.
