i need to know how to adjust the valves on my vt750
I need to know how to adjust the valves on a 2008 yfz 450.
you need to adjust the valves
Valves are self adjusting on the 5.2 and 5.9 2nd gen dodge rams. There is no need to adjust the lashings. Hand tight and they will adjust themselves.
The valves use hydraulic lifters and need no adjustment. If you feel there is a problem you need to look farther.
whenever you can hear the motor ticking or clicking
You do not adjust PCV valves. You just replace them. Now if you are referring to the intake and exhaust valves, then you need to have this done by a professional. Severe engine damage can occur if this is not done correctly. Only a job for an expert.
probably need to adjust your valves
If you want to adjust valves you will have to replace adjusting shims. It's about $8 per piece. Before buying anything you need to measure current gap, then measure the height of the shims and then calculate which new height to need. Then go and buy it.
1989 240SX don't use bulbs... Least you can't just change the bulbs.. You need to go buy yourself the whole housing which they sell for less than $20 at autopart stores. For newer 240SX 1995 and up, its 9005. There's 2. Low beam and High Beam. you need 2 for each side, so 4 total. <hr> Actually if your 240sx was owned by someone else and put in a non sealed-beam headlight the bulb it would take is an H4 bulb. The type of headlights a 1989-1994 240sx has a 6054 model and there are places like www.h4lights.com to replace the sealed-beam. ~rin5
it will fit but you need to modify the mounts.
I think the only way to can adjust valves on Toyota engines is to replace them.
