I have never heard that a cake that has been cut doesn't need to be covered. In fact, just the opposite is true. Once a cake is cut, it realease moisture and goes stale MUCH faster than an un-cut cake. If you want to leave it out, then that it fine. Just try to place it where it is not near heat, direct sunlight, water / other moisture, or where too many people will be touching it.
I would assume preview it before viewing it?
Be sure you understand the risks as well as the potential side effects of the surgery. Also make sure you understand if it's covered by your insurance or not.
The cover slip is the last item to be placed on a wet mount slide before viewing.

it is probably because of your internet connection. Even if you have high speed internet you will sometimes have to wait for the buffer to fill before viewing.
The way I understand it, it takes 365 days to take affect. For example if you get pregnant, then have some bills before that date they won't be covered, but anything after that will.

It's under the front hood on the passenger side and is covered in plastic molding that has to be cut before it can be removed for service or replacement. Use an exacto knife to cut the plastic molding along the cut lines that should be visible when viewing it directly from the front.
