A great way to get the wallpaper loose is to use a steamcleaner. The small hand-hend varieties are the best - cheap, portable, and easy to use. To remove the wallpaper, simply run the nozzle of the steamcleaner against the wallpaper, going up and down until the paper is hot, humid and saturated with moisture. This loosens the grip of the adhesive and the paper is pulled off with ease.
