i just bought a used car. Do i sign my name where it says purscahser
When selling you sign at the Owner or Release block. When buying sign at Purchaser.
If a person forges a title owner's title and sells the title to an oblivious purchaser, the purchaser's ownership can be challenged. If, however, the purchaser sells to a new purchaser before the original owner makes claim, the new purchaser's title is indefeasible.
A title release would mean the last "purchaser" or owner would have to "sign off" on the title and any liens (if any) would have to be satified to do this. I've never heard of a release title card. Not sure if they exsist.
The purchaser.
Yes. You must transfer the title.
Only if the purchaser is ok with it.
Cashiers checks, also known as tellers checks or bank checks, are signed by a representative of the bank, not the purchaser. Money orders are typically signed by the purchaser.
The co-signer will usually only have to sign if they are listed on the title as a co-owner.
You cant sell the vehicle without titling it in your name first unless you are selling it to a salvage yard or for scrap metal. The person buying it wont be able to get a title for it if you dont title it first.
U Sign it if u bout it cash :))
If your names BOTH appear on the title - yes - you will both have to sign.
Filling out a MoneyGram money order can be done in a couple easy steps. All you need to do is, sign your name where it says purchaser, fill in your address where it says purchaser address, and write what the money order is for where it says memo.
