Even if it can't be treated, it's better to have the veterinarian kill the hamster gently and quickly than to let it die slowly and in pain.

∙ 13y agoIf they don't look right, are having birthing problems, or they are sick, then yes. But they don't need rabies shots or anything. They aren't like dogs and cats, who need a yearly checkup.
