No, you really don't need estrogen blockers if you are taking testosterone as part of replacement therapy or a sex-reassignment program. That said, taking estrogen blockers may help decrease feminization and make the testosterone replacement more effective in the case of sex-reassignment.

However, men who take testosterone and/or anabolic steroids for performance enhancement reasons would generally block the aromatase enzyme to prevent testosterone from being converted to estrogen. Excessive amounts of testosterone causes breast growth since the body converts extra testosterone to estrogen.

As always, you should never take any sort of prescription medication that is not prescribed to you, and nothing said here should be taken as medical advice.

What is the supplement formadrol?

Do you see the guys with MAN BOOBS? One of the unpleasant side effects of a really effective Testosterone cycle can be bloat, fat and gyno…as your Testosterone converts to Estrogen. Everybody wants the androgenic effects of Testosterone but who wants man boobs? So how do you increase your Testosterone and protect it from Estrogen conversion? Your Testosterone levels are always under attack - by age, a prohormone or steroid cycle, medications, many thing. Some of these even shut your production down completely. The last thing you need is your dwindling Testosterone turning into Estrogen. Everyone knows Estrogen can totally destroy every gain you get from your reps and all the good your good diet does you. Every time you try to add more Testosterone with injections, legal steroids, or natural testosterone boosters -your body tries to regain its hormonal balance. It converts your Testosterone into Estrogen. So now, instead of being primed to build muscle and strength and feeling horny as a goat, you have Estrogen running around building fat, making you lose your hair and turning your motor off. Sometimes, your pituitary gets really confused and TURNS OFF Testosterone production COMPLETELY!

Are there drugs as effective as alpha blockers in treating enlarged prostrates?

Alpha blockers seems to work the best and there are many. If you don't like the drug your doctor has put you on then please discuss this with your doctor and try another Alpha blocker drug. Doxazosin (Cardura); Phentolamine; Tamsulosin (Flomax); Terazosin It may also be advisable to get a blood test for FREE testosterone and estrogen levels (yes, men have estrogen), especially if older than 45 and in andropause. Elevated estrogen levels (over 100) can indicate the need for Arimidex 0.5mg three times a week to reduce the estrogen in the system partly caused by a re-cycling of testosterone to estrogen.

Does testosterone injections cause stomach bloat?

If you are using an excessive amount of testosterone (i.e. anabolic steroids), then the answer is yes. What testosterone does not get absorbed by your body's receptor cells will be converted to estrogen, thus causing edema (water retention - "bloating"), gynecomastia and increased body fat. If you have a bloated stomach, then the body fat is visceral (stored between and around your internal organs). This type of body fat is very unhealthy and can cause a range of medical problems. Diet and exercise are the best ways to get rid of excess body fat, but if you're running too much testosterone then you also need to decrease your dosage. If you want to be certain that your testosterone/estrogen levels are within their proper ranges, seek advice and assistance from your physician.

Does stanazol raise estrogen levels?

You're talking about Winstrol (stanozolol) right? It's mainly used for muscle hardening and fat-burning, it's not capable of converting into estrogen, so no, it doesn't. You also don't have to worry about gynecomastia with it. If you stack with testosterone though, you'll need an anti-estrogen such as Clomid or Nolvadex. Make sure you know what you're doing before you take that crap though.

Do you need to fast before an estrogen test?

If your pill does not contain estrogen, there is a medical reason why your health care provider chose that one for you. When you have a sex change and become a man do you still produce eggs and have periods?

It depends on the surgeries and hormones taken. No one "produces" eggs. You are born with all the eggs you will ever need and you don't make any more. The release of the eggs (and thus menstruation) is mainly affected by the hormones estrogen and progesterone. When a female starts taking testosterone, which is a very common part of transitioning from female to male and usually precedes any surgeries, the effects of the testosterone overpowers the effects of the estrogen and progesterone. So, if a transsexual man just takes testosterone, it is fairly likely that he will no longer have periods. Some people, though, continue to have periods while on testosterone. However, this doesn't mean that they can become pregnant, since testosterone is not conducive to fertilization of the egg. To the non-transsexual community, a "sex change" often refers specifically to genital surgery, that is, surgery (such as metoidioplasty or phalloplasty) to make the recipient's genitals look more phenotypically male. Such a surgery is mostly only cosmetic and does not affect function of the internal reproductive organs. However, some transsexual men get hysterectomies (removal of the uterus), which definitely prevents menstruation, since there is no uterine lining to be shed, or oophorectomies (removal of the ovaries), which can prevent menstruation by decreasing amounts of estrogen and progesterone produced by the body.
