No. Everyone that need tags for a vehicle do not own the car. You only get the title if you own the vehicle. You will, however, need your registration.
Yes, if you want to drive it legally, that is.
You simply don't renew the tags and registration. When it's ready to be driven again, then you go and get the tags and registration for it.
If a title is in your spouse's name and you want to register the car in your name do you need to change the title?
No, finance company holds vehicle title and are mailed renewal forms for tags. Renewal fee is calculated into monthly payments and registration is paid for and sent if loan is up to date. Unless car loan was signature/personal credit type, then you renew registration yourself, finance company option is to reposses vehicle from you in first senario, ruined credit forever in second one.
You will need to go to the DMV to change your car tags in the state of Florida.
duuuhhh - maybe check with your local DMV ???? You will need a certificate of ownership, like the title for instance. If there is still a lien on the car, you must notify the lender of the change as well.
AnswerReport the car to be running with invallad tags and plates.
The dealer should have applied for the tags and title for you, however, it's not required that they do. Until you get them to correct the title, or sign it properly, you should be able to get a temporary tag at the dmv.
Not the dealership, but you have to pay tax, tags and title.
I believe they can; with the exception being that if you own the hotel your car is on your property so it would be OK to have the expired tags. The question would then be if you can afford to own a hotel then why can't you renew your tags?
Yes you do have to renew your car licence if you do not use your vehicle.
