Do you perform CPR with excessive bleeding?
Start CPR; at some point you will need to control the bleeding (hopefully someone is with you to do this). If not, make a judgment call when to stop CPR & get the bleeding under control.
You do not perform CPR when there is excessive bleeding, you will effectively pump out the person's blood. Check for mass bleeding before CPR. Also, If the person has a pulse, there is no reason to perform CPR. If the person is breathing, speaking, or conscious. There is no need for CPR. CPR is used to pump the heart when it will not pump.
The correct medical term is menorrhagia. Menorrhagia means excessive bleeding during menstruation. Excessive menstrual bleeding is menorhagia. Irregular menstrual bleeding is metrorhagia. Irregular excessive menstrual bleeding is menometrorhagia. Menorrhagia is excessive uterine bleeding during the menses. Menorrhagia
