I would recommend the NOOKcolor to just about anyone! You can LendBooks to all your friends who have nooks and eBooks are cheaper on NOOK and you can get library books onto your nook too! The Nook also plays mp4 movies, any type of music (Pandora included) and also has some small games like Chess or Sudoku! Although bolth are great if you have the money go for the NOOKcolor anyday!
Hello! This is another person. I would recommend the NOOK to just about anyone. If you are looking for a device that holds your millions of books without hurting your eyes, than the NOOK and the KINDLE are almost the same. However the Nook is a little bit higher in price if you want 3G+Wi-fi or just plain Wi-fi. I like the Nook better, because it allows you to read like a normal book, and is organized in such a way that will be helpful and easier to find books in your library which can hold billions of books. And, yeah. I do NOT recommend the NookColor, because yes, it does hurt your eyes. So I suggest you don't get it for reading purposes.
A lot of my friends have these e readers, and the kindle / nook debate comes up frequently. I personally prefer the nook, but it all depends on what you want to get out of your E reader.
Both the devices are well built and serve their purpose. Nook has the ability to add an sd card to increase the memory. If you already have many kindle books, you should prefer kindle. if you have purchased books in the barnes and nobles store, you should prefer nook.
The Nook came well after the Kindle.
The library, amazon.com, or if you have a kindle/ nook from the store located on the kindle/ nook
I have had personal experience with the Barnes and Noble Nook. I have found it to be flexible with eBooks, as well as Adobe PDF files. I have also worked with the apps for the Nook and Kindle both. In that case, I prefer the Kindle app for reading books.
Kindle for sure it has more to offer than the Nook & the pricing is totally worth it.
no, kindle fire is 8gb, and nook is 16gb, HOWEVER when watching movies and all the nook buffs WAY too much i suggest the kindle fire if you are planning on buying i suggest the kindle fire
The kindle is available at amazon.com and is very convient and comes in different sizes. Kindle is 4gb and Nook is 2gb. The Nook is available from Barnes and Nobles and much more expensive.
Kindle because you can get more books for free.
Kindles and Nooks are both ereaders. The Kindle is manufactured by Amazon and the Nook by Barnes and Noble. They support different file types, but at a similar cost, they are more similar than different.
They dont have it on E readers such as nook or kindle.
The cost for a Nook GlowLight e-reader as of May 2014 is $119. The Kindle Paperwhite is also $119.
