Usually putting a lip balm to make your lips smooth first works better. The stain will get in the cracks of your lips and will look dry if you do not smooth your lips first. Burts Bees is a pretty good balm that is easy to obtain.
Hydrating lip balm is lip balm that will hydrate your lips when you put it on. A common misconception, however, is that hydrating lip balm is lip balm that can also be used to hydrate yourself. This has led to many people having sour tastes in their mouth and being no more hydrated than when they started, therefore it's not recommended to use it for this latter purpose.
Protect your lips. Put on lip balm and even brush your teeth.
This substance is called Lip Stick or Lip Balm
The best time to apply lip balm to prevent chapped lips is before the lips begin to feel dry. The sooner lip balm is applied, the safer the lips will be.

-Mouthwash with alcohol -peroxide -alcohol -Don't put chapstick/lip balm around the actual piercing. You can use it just not on it.
Your lips don't have hair follicles, so they can't get hairy.
No it doesn't. I put Vaseline on my lips day and night and I still have black lips. I don't understand! Im a child, so I don't smoke. But I do lick and scratch my lips.
Who cares if it is? If you like it, continue to use it. But I advise you: If you're on a date and he/she is about to kiss you, no one likes that strong smell. I only use it when my lips get chapped, and they don't. (Well pretty much.) If you find yourself getting tired of using Carmex, buy a sweeter-smelling lip balm, such as Sephora (They smell great), ChapStick, or LipSmackers.
It depends your recipe. What I suggest is using flavored oils, beeswax, cocoa butter, and olive oil. I am starting a lip balm business, and I am using these ingredients. Then, you just put them in small containers and let it dry. You have to put money into this. It costs about $70-$100 dollars just to do this! This isn't a rainy day activity, it is a devotion.
