Absolutely - adultery is illegal in most countries.
In many jurisdictions, adultery is not considered a criminal offense. The consequences of adultery, such as divorce or other civil penalties, are typically handled in family court rather than criminal court. As such, spouses or mistresses would not typically go to jail specifically for committing adultery.
No, you can't go to jail in Ohio for adultery. Adultery is grounds for divorce and losing custody of children. It's a crime in 20 states, but I think it's virtually never prosecuted.
The arrest him, put him in jail, make him pay child support in jail, weekly visits for the kids to see him in jail, you get tired of letting the kids see him in jail, move on while he is in jail, you miss him alot while he is in jail, get remarried but then divorce because the guys a meanie while your husband is in jail, then he has porole from jail, you realize your the only one for him while hes in jail, he gets out on good behavior from jail, you and him live happily ever after from his one to two year sentance from jail...JAIL
well as we all know today, he specifically went to jail for cheating on his husband, with another child, which not only did he commit adultery..... he expressed pedophilia which made him look terrible to his husband. so he then died in jail by an STD which was given to him by the child. the child was then prosecuted for murder and he to died. but that is only what I've heard from very smart individuals. good day sir.

your husband is in jail and you're on wiki answers? in illinois? buy a balaclava and a carrot, break him out.
Yes, especially if the marriage is recent and the husband is going to be in jail for a long time or has committed a felony.
If he is a married man, he should not go out of his way to contact these women. You are supporting him while he is in jail, he has no business doing this to you when you could leave him at the drop of a hat. If he just wants more letters because he is lonely, write him more.
Adultery is a felony in Oklahoma, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a fine.
