yes you can run it a couple of times also use adaware free scan before turning system restore back on this way you will know it is forsure gone also you can run spybot (www.download.com for free) spybot is good just use the beginner method so you dont ruin your registries also it asks if you wanna back up your registries and do that just in case.
Disable system restore. Run AVG again. Reboot system and then renenable system restore. Google "How to disable system restore" for instructions.
To remove the Trojan from C:restore-temp You need to delete your restore files. The best thing to do is a system restore. If you do not have a safe restore point, Just delete the restore files.You can do this by going to My Computer properties (System Properties) select System Restore tab and check turn off system restore, click apply. Now your restore files together with the Trojan will be removed. Now turn on System Restore again. Could you please give the Trojan name?

Try using Trojan Remover from simplysup.com The Trojan Remover didn't find the Trojan on my PC but was the only program I found that would actually delete the file.
To get rid of that Trojan file turn off System Restore and restart your computer then run another virus scan and it should come up clean. AV programs can't remove virus/virus infected files from System Restore. Don't forget to turn on System Restore again after you do the above. To disable Windows XP System Restore right click on My Computer, click on the System Restore tab and select Turn Off System Restore. Don't forget to turn it back on after doing the above.
AVG isn't pretending to remove it but it detect that everytime you restart you system or turn it off that the Trojan comes back. Which means while you system is still on the Trojan is gone. After AVG have said that is is removed. The only way to get rid of this is to download windows live onecare from this link http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/3/communications/trytoday.htm Try this and I can ensure this will work. Turn off System Restore, restart the computer, update and run AVG, and remove the offending file. Restart the computer and then go to System Restore and create a Restore point. Restart the computer.
If you're using Win9x, boot into DOS and type scanreg /restore to restore the registry. Choose a backup that pre-dates the problem, if able. If using XP, you can do a system restore to fix it. If you find the info useful, Please Vote!!!

The only way would be to remove everything through itunes. "Restore to factory settings" i suggest virus scanning all of your songs to check they are not affected then put the songs back on your ipod :)
The best option would be to go into your system options and restore your system to the factory default. This will wipe all the files off your computer, but is necessary to erase all the hidden files a trojan virus created.
