YES if you don't the other chickens will kill them so heres what you do if you have a coop. keep the babies in a separate cage but inside the coop that will let the other chickens get used to them do that for a couple days then let the chicks out and see if they like each other if they don't put them back in the cage.

Is a human baby born in a egg?

No. All fetuses start off as a cell which is called an egg. But human babies are not inside an egg like baby chickens are when chicks are born. Human babies do not need a shell, because the mommy's belly gives the fetus protection for the entire time. Chicks must grow inside the egg shell but outside of their mommy's belly.

The answer to this question totally depends on the type of chicken you are concerned about. The bantam chickens may weigh less than a pound at 7 weeks. What do newborn chickens eat?

Chicks hatch with a supply of the yolk they have grown from in their system. You do not have to offer food to new hatchlings for at least 72 hours. When the chicks are dry, fluffy and active they can be given a fine chick crumble feed along with separate water. Water must be offered in a way that the chick does not fall in and drown. A shallow container with pebbles or a professional chick water dispenser.
