I should think... no.
First of, if you are a respectable person and a daughter, -I can suppose you are indeed a girl- it would be wise to think of your family and what other people would think. But if you family is the type which you don't care for, or you don't mind disregarding, I suggest you follow your heart.
But, if you are new in the art of courtship, love, and passion, I truly think that you should think it over.
There are more guys out there than you could ever find, and one is bound to be your soulmate. So I suggest you look before you leap, and keep searching for a good man -not that I think your choice of love is unadmireable (most girls nowadays go for 'bad boy' types), it's just that before you go hopping on the love train -choo, choo!- you should ask your man's opinion first.
