I always use raw.
The toasting or any heat is going to break down the DNA I would think.
It's just as healthy either way. Toasting will not affect the nutritional content. Enjoy!
One serving or three tablespoons of raw wheat germ contains 60 kcal.
If the wheat germ is freshly prepared from wheat grains it will not be bitter. However, wheat germ contains oils that quickly go rancid as soon as the grain is ground and the wheat germ separated out. It is the rancid oils in stale wheat germ that cause the bitter taste. When the wheat germ is rancid it no longer has any special nutritive value. If a package of wheat germ is on sale, it is probably because it went rancid and the store manager knows it.

Do not eat wheat grass raw, it gives you food poisoning.
I have dpne some reasearch and the raw product is the wheat plant itself....then at the end of the proccesses it is wheat flour.
I believe granola is toasted/baked, while muesli is raw.
Toasted sesame oil is not the same as sesame oil. Toasted sesame oil has a stronger flavor and aroma because the sesame seeds are toasted before being pressed for oil. Sesame oil, on the other hand, is made from raw sesame seeds and has a milder flavor.
The main difference between sesame oil and toasted sesame oil is that toasted sesame oil has a stronger, nuttier flavor compared to regular sesame oil. This is because toasted sesame oil is made from sesame seeds that have been toasted before being pressed, while regular sesame oil is made from raw sesame seeds.
