My child wants to keep her tooth and leave a note for the tooth fairy. Should the tooth fairy leave her money?

Yes, of course, that is the whole purpose. Well, the "Tooth Fairy's" job is to take the tooth from under the pillow and leave a gift, it can be money or whatever she would choose to leave. If the TOOTH isn't there for her to pick up it elimates her job and the story is incomplete. She isn't called the note fairy, or the "iou" fairy, after all! I'd explain to her that, I didn't think it would work, that it is like she is trying to trick the Tooth Fairy, she knows the tooth came out and is waiting for the tooth. But if she still wanted to try I'd let her, but the Tooth Fairy wouldn't be acting like the note fairy, she'd be offended and not take the note. Maybe even leave one of her own, asking for the tooth. Then I'd encourage her to leave the tooth the next night and the Tooth Fairy would be happy to leave a gift, maybe with a note saying it's not nice to try and fool the Tooth Fairy. The Tooth Fairy can leave more than just money, he can leave a note or a small gift. The Tooth Fairy really needs teeth for his castle, so that is why he takes every single tooth.

Is there a tooth fairy in Spain?

In Spain, Raton Perez, or the Perez Mouse, is the equivalent to the tooth fairy. As in America, children leave their tooth under the pillow in the hopes that the Perez Mouse will take it and leave a gift for them while they sleep.

Is the toohfairy real?

The tooth fairy is not real. It is just an old myth/folk tale. Your parents only take the tooth, put it under your pillow, and when your asleep at night they take it out from under your pillow and leave some of their money under there. Oh and if you ask if Santa Claus is real he is not. I found out when i was 9 years old.. Santa Claus is just a Folk tale. He is suppose to deliver the presents but he doesn't. Your parents just buy the present from the store and when your asleep at night they put it under the tree and try not to wake you...

Do you get money from the tooth fairy?

It all depends on the family - when I was a younger child and was loosing teeth, I was given money after the tooth fairy would take my tooth away. However, in some families, the tooth fairy gives out other things. Money is simply the most common.

Is the tooth fairy real?

There are three main opinions about the reality of the tooth fairy. Some people believe that the tooth fairy is real, and when a child loses his/her tooth and puts it under the pillow, she will come during the night to take the tooth and give the child a coin. Other people believe that the tooth fairy is only a mythical creature, and she does not exist outside of fairy tales. And some people believe that the tooth fairy exists in the hearts of children, even though she does not have a physical presence. Here are some other opinions on the tooth fairy's existence.Yes the tooth fairy is real. Your dentist knows the fairy quite well and will tell if you do not keep your mouth clean like you should.Every child will loose his baby teeth and it is part of growing up to lose them. When you start to lose your baby teeth, ask your parents what to do with them. They will help you find out exactly what the tooth fairy will do.The tooth fairy cannot be a fake. If you think about it, all deserving children will sacrifice a tooth for a treat, or even money. The healthier the tooth, the more value it has for the tooth fairy, so for example, if a tooth falls out because it is rotten it will not be worth anything. The tooth fairy comes in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes the fairy can be quick and sometimes very slow and clumsy. I have seen a tooth fairy stumble on a toy I left on the floor and there was so much noise that I could not sleep. My tooth was already gone from under my pillow and in it's place was a coin - it was a lot of money in those days.I know somebody who lost their tooth in the basin. The next morning, his father opened up the pipe and could not find the tooth, however, there was a small handful of change in the drain. So the tooth fairy can even swap a tooth for money in a drain pipe! Normally, the fairy knows where the tooth came from, so even if you loose your tooth before the tooth fairy arrives, you can probably still find a sweet under you pillow in the mornings.No. "Tooth fairies" do not really exist; fairies as a whole do not exist.Of course not! It is a parent's means to encourage their child to accept that they will lose their baby teeth - in exchange for money.

Tell you parents to take you to a dentist. It may be a baby tooth about to come out, or a regular tooth that needs attention. Do not delay this.
