no, zr2s don´t have adjustable shocks, they have bilsteins, but they are not adjustable.
You cannot. Stock shocks are not adjustable.
If it's a swingarm-type model use longer shocks, if it's a Softail use shorter shocks. Or you can use height-adjustable air shocks on any Harley with a rear suspension.
Air shocks on a Buick Park Ave are adjustable to give a smoother ride. If a shock or compressor fails, the rear of the car will sag an possibly drag on low road bumps.
Depends on what vehicle and brand of shocks, but you can get grabriels or another inexpensive shock for around $20 each. Koni or factory replacements can be$100-200 each.
How do you replace rear shocks on a 2003 altima?
Yes it should have front struts and rear shocks.
They have air shocks in the back that are used for ride height control. This is not the same as an "air spring" system. They have regular rear springs and the air bladders in the shock are only pumped up when there is significant load in the rear, to prevent the rear end from sagging. This is a very simple and reliable system. Monroe makes great factory replacement rear air shocks and they are cheap too.
The rear shocks on a Pontiac G6 are replaced by supporting the rear axle on jack stands, removing the wheels, and unbolting the shocks. New shocks can then be put in place and bolted on.
I installed a 2.5 inch rough country leveling kit that used strut extenders in the front, and 1 inch blocks in the rear with the N2.0 rear shocks. I want to raise it more, and I wanted to install the Skyjacker F432STK 3 inch front and 3 inch rear lift alongside my leveling kit. It uses add a leaf in the rear, and in the front adjustable coil overs. I want to mount the strut extenders from my leveling kit onto these new front adjustable struts, and keep the 1 inch block in the rear with the add a leaf. I imagine the rough country rear shocks that I put in will be long enough to stay on the truck so I do not have to buy longer rear shocks. Anybody?
If it's like mine, it's because after market shocks have been installed. Most people didn't install the adjustable one's when they changed them out. Two ways to check, front-pull off the black caps and look for the plug in, if they're not connected, theyre after market. Rear- pull the speaker and look, not pluged in...aftermarket. It is very hard to find the adjustable shocks. I've looked at 5 different parts store and only 1 can get them for me and they are $157/each.
youre automatic air ride suspension went out it happens to alot of navigators/expeditions that came from the factory with rear air ride shocks
struts in front, shocks in rear.
