If the car's computer does not sense the low speed fan relay I have seen the fans run continously. Check in the fuse box on the driver's side of the engine compartment. The inside of the cover will list each of the rlays. Take the low speen relay out and test. Caution the blade oriented 90 degrees to the others is always hot.
the thermostat on the 99 intrepid with the 2.7L is on the bottom water hose.the hose runs from the radiator at the bottom to the engine... the thermostat is on the engine... it is right next to the anternator.thanksAnswerHi Most thermostats are usually found on the engine side of the upper radiator hose.B.H.
sensor
Your question is very confusing. If the car runs then it has to start. Please clarify.
The 3.3 it runs off of the serpentine belt. The 3.5 it runs off of the timing belt.
my car 1997 dodge intrepid runs good for a couple of hours shuts down for 20 minutes backfires and runs again like nothing happen
15-16 gallons i just got rid of mine!! My Intrepid runs like a champ, keep up with it. Use good oil.
try replacing the thermostat
You need to test the wires at the map.
All the relays are the same. Just swithch it with the fuel pump relay and if the car runs, the relay is good.
Seems like Int have MAF Mass Air Flow sensors, this is located in the intake box normally up by the radiator, unplug it and see how runs also could be but I doubt it the TPS throttle position sensor.
Power steering cooler.
At the bottom of the radiator there is a radiator hose that goes up to the engine. The hose runs into a housing with two bolts. Remove the two small bolts and the thermostat is inside.
