Any smoke ( blue ) coming out the exhaust ?
they never made a 2006 cbr 900. the 900 was killed off in favor of the 929rr and 954rr in 1999 i believe, then they killed the 929 and 954 for the weaker 1000RR in 2004. but Honda did made a 519 and 919 but they were toned down naked versions.

i have a 2003 cbr 600RR, stock it should have around 100-1005. i have an akrapovic slip on exhuast as well as a power comander 3. i had it dyno tuned a few months back and it has 117hp. not sure where it'd be without the power commander.
4 litres
It will fit. I just installed a '01 motor in my girls '00 929.
110 horsepower at 12,500 RPM
Perhaps you've made a typo, the last year the 900 was produced was in 1999, actually it was refered to as the 918 from 1996-99 due to it's engine's displacement. From 2000-01 Honda produced the 929 and from 2002-04 the 954 was produced. From 2004-present the cbr 1000 has been Honda's litre bike.
The prices range from ǣ250 through to ǣ300 for the exhaust. One of the cheapest of the type can be found on the BS Motorsports website and would cost you ǣ264.
