There is an exemption of the following nature for senior individuals.
- Above 50yrs, PR for 20yrs - No English test, can take the civics test in the language of their choice.
- Above 55 yrs, PR for 15 yrs - No English test, can take the civics test in the language of their choice.
- Above 65yrs, PR for 20 yrs - No English test, can take the civics test in the language of their choice
In case of any physical impairment or disability, then that person has to file Form N-648 ( Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions)
