No WikiAnswers does not pay its contributors. The only "money" that is given out is during holiday events and AnswerThons. The CA (Community Assistant/Manager) team is the only group that gets paid to contribute to Answers.com.

A "wikI" is defined as a website run by a team volunteers, where anybody can contribute to and access the information voluntarily and for free.

∙ 7y agoAnswers does not pay contributors. However, volunteer Supervisors (especially for HS and college students) can put their volunteerism work on Answers.com onto your resume as a Volunteer, which can help you when applying for a job.
