If you currently work for a living and pay taxes or, you have worked all of your life and paid taxes or you have been in the armed forces and paid taxes and risked your life for your country, the government not only does nothing to help you, but tries to deny you the entitlements you had coming to you at the end of your working life.

If as an immigrant (illegal or otherwise), a dole bludger, somebody with an imaginery ailment which prevents them from working, a convicted criminal, all of whom parasite themselves off the previously mentioned tax paying workers, the government will move mountains to help them with my taxes.
