Buddhism's take on reincarnation is not the same as he Western view of the subject. There is no aware "soul package" that moves on from individual to individual carrying the memories of all past lives. The end of the cycle of deatha nd re-birth is acheived when a Buddhist enters Nirvana. This includes a release of the desire to maintain an individual existence.
In both these cases the existence of being as an individual entity is pretty much negated. Now, if you want a really mind-blowing answer, you were never an individual entity to begin with, according to the Buddhist teachings. You are suffering from the illusion of separateness, when in fact nothing is separate from anything else.
