Canada has a great many mountain ranges from east to west and north to south. There are probably tens of thousands of mountains in Canada, the second biggest country in the world (the biggest is Russia).

Manitoba really doesn't have any mountains at all. There are a few big hills that are called mountains, but they're not really mountains. The area around Winnipeg, for example, is as flat as a pancake.

Alberta and British Columbia have big mountains.
