Well if you get that there are different religions, then know that the catholic and christian community have many similarities.

As for rituals we both have something that is like rituals but we refer to them as Sacraments.

Both Catholics and Christians have to go through 3 Sacraments:

Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

There are also more Sacraments, like the Sacrament The anointing of the Sick that is

more like a ritual done the same way to all who receives it.

Words used in this Sacrament:

"Through this Holy anointing may the Lord

in his love and mercy help you with

the grace of the Holy Spirit.

May the Lord who frees you from sin save you

and raise you up."

Christianity isn't about rituals, it is about having a relationship with God. I am Baptist and we believe that doing certain things like reading The Bible daily is one way to grow closer to God, and that it is very important to understand more about Him. However, God doesn't tell us that we absolutely must read the Bible every day. We do it because we love to learn more and because we want to seek His will for us. If you are just reading the Bible because you have to, you won't get anything out of it anyways. Prayer should be a part of daily life as well. "Pray Continually" (1st Thessalonians 5:17) we believe, but it is only effective when your heart is truly seeking God, not when you are praying because you believe it is required.

" In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice;

in the morning I lay my requests before you

and wait in expectation." (Psalms 5:3)

This passage shows the amazing qualities of prayer and how talking to God causes one to "wait in expectation" for his great wisdom and power. God doesn't want us to miss out on this joy and comfort of true prayer from the heart because we have been convinced that prayer is obligatory and ritualistic.

The main point that I am trying to make is that God is interested in our hearts and our relationship with him, not with rituals.

Do you believe that christians have made Christianity sounds satantity?

it's really hard to answer this without any details explaining why you have this thought for comparison and contrast. If you mean the rituals and practices, I wouldn't really agree right off the bat because every religion has a set of followed practices and rituals so saying only Christianity is comparable to satanism is a little quick.

Protestantism is a sect (denomination) of Christianity that tries to demphasize the rituals that the Catholic denomination emphasizes. Keep in mind, this is not unorthodox; Protestant churches are just more simple than Catholic churches.

Is Buddhism stricter than Christianity?

It is unclear what "stricter" means in this context. Christianity has more clear dogmas than Buddhism, so it is easier to fall outside of the boundaries of Christianity than to fall outside the boundaries of Buddhism. However, Buddhist rituals are typically more time and focus-intensive than Christian ones.

What are the rituals of paganism?

Paganism contains a wide variety of different spiritual paths, just as Christianity does. One could be Wiccan, Druid, or much more, just as one could be Episcopalian, Catholic, or much more inside Christianity. Therefore, the rituals practiced in Paganism tend to vary depending on the practice of the individual and also by what the person wants to convey in a ritual, the time of the ritual, and their own personal feelings and whims.

At the time, Calvanism offered a pure translation of Christianity, as well as a break from both the rituals and -dare we say- hedonism of the Catholic Church.
