Is there a fee for carry on luggage?
Some airlines are now charging a fee for checked luggage. Soon to follow will be a charge for carry on bags, too. The whole idea seems preposterous to some. Does Continental Airlines charge for carry on bags?

You are also generally allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage - left with the baggage handlers to be stowed in the lower section of the plane. Once again as a general rule these are limited to a maximum of 50 pounds each and there may be size restrictions. The limits may vary for international flights depending on the airline.
