she doees not save him in blood-promise but i here that in the next one, spirit-bound, that rose and lissa find victor and go to his step brother so that when dimitri (aka D) (thats in the note where he writes "love D") comes and finds rose they turn him back into dhampire.

Yes, Demitri dies in the "Vampire Academy" series. He sacrifices himself to save others and meets his demise in one of the later books in the series.
