In the game, Dialga kicks Palkia to China (Japan). Dialga has a huge type defense because it is steal type. And because of this, it cancels out Palkia's Spacial Rend attack to keep it just plain affective, instead of super affective like it would hit a dragon type. But in the anime movie Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai, Palkia is wounded badly by Dialga's Roar of Time attack. So Palkia chickens out (please don't criticise me Palkia fans, just sayin' the truth) and flees to Alamos town. If you have watched the movie, yeah, you can see Dialga is the better of the two. But then theres Giratina.... That's a different story....
