Here's the Muslim point of view: It depends. If the prayer is harmful/negative/generally wrong then no it will not be answered. If you are a person who isn't a proper Muslim and doesn't follow the teachings or picks and chooses on what you feel like following or don't act in an Islamic fashion then again no. Then there are the cases where the thing you may be asking for is not right for you at that point in time or may seem innocent but could harm you in some other way. In those cases the prayer is usually answered in a different form later on in your life (be it in the next week, year or decade). Lastly if the prayer that you made was not right for you in any time during your life or wasn't part of God's plan for you than you are given the reward for it (for just asking!) in the afterlife (as it comes back to you in the form of a good deed).

No. This is why religious leaders have provided a list of various reasons prayers might not be answered, such as that we can not know the ways of God, or God will have good reasons, unknown to us, for not answering a prayer.

Even if God never answers a prayer, some things we ask for will happen fortuitously anyway.

Yes. Sometimes the answer is Yes, sometimes it is No, and sometimes it is a third alternative (such as Later). Even Moses received an answer of No, on at least one occasion (Deuteronomy 3:23-26).Even when the answer is No, prayer has its benefits. Prayer is an important form of communicating with God, and maintaining a relationship with Him; and it is also good for the health of the soul, to which prayer and religious observances are a form of nourishment. It as centrally important to thank God, to recognize that He is the source of prosperity, and to be close to Him.

Always say some prayers at night because it might turn out that there is a God what does this mean?

I truly don't know but I do know God will always be with you and he will never go away even when you forget to pray at night! :-)

Why does God answer prayers?

A:Christians believe that God will answer their prayers as an acknowledgement of the faith of those who submit their prayers to him. If he does not answer a prayer, it is assumed not to have been worthy or not part of God's plan. You can be certain that if enough people pray for the things they want or need, some of them will have their wishes fulfilled, while others will not. Whether that outcome is because of God's unknowable plan or simply blind chance is something each person can decide. This means that if you pray often enough, at least some of your prayers will be answered, if only by chance. . You will probably remember these answers to your prayers, but soon forget the many prayers that seemingly were not answered.

What would you do if someone you known Committed Suicide?

. We cannot know the final disposition for anyone's soul before God. All we can do is trust in the mercy of God and pray for that person. There have been a few revelations to people of persons who committed suicide, in the two that I can think of, one was a young girl who appeared to her friend who had been praying for her, she told her to not pray for her as she was in hell. The other was Our Blessed Lady revealing to a mother that her son had repented with his dying breath and would be in purgatory for the rest of the time so he was in desperate need of prayers. We should commend these souls to God and pray for their release from purgatory. All prayers offered for the dead are used by God. If the person has no need of our prayers, then God uses them for someone who does need our prayers. Prayers for the dead are never "wasted."

It explains that prayers to a god are not always answered, not that a god does not exist. However, if the god in question meets some criteria that would allow an expectation for all prayers to be answered, it does not exist.

What are unanswered prayers?

I think that god always answers prayers, even if its a no or not what you wanted. BUt an unanswered prayer probably means like that they did not get what they wanted.Even though that was gods way of answering it it wasnt what they wanted. That is the truth. God answers all prayers even if we don't see it.

What do you do when 4. You pray but your prayers have not been answered and also meditate?

One of the difficult things to learn about the Christian life is that while your prayers are always answered, sometimes the answer is "No". In that case, the best advice is to trust God and pray for the grace to accept God's will, as God's will, not ours, is always best. This is easy to say (or type) but very hard to do.

Do you have to be saved or baptized for your prayers to be answered?

No. ANSWER: God has no reason to answer an unbelievers prayer UNLESS it is a prayer for salvation. After salvation God will answer your prayers. You do not have to be baptized to have your prayers answered. Your prayers are addressed to God in Jesus' name. If you do not belong to God through Jesus Christ God will not hear you.
