Greek Indipendance Day is March 25. After being enslaved by the Ottomen Empire (Turkey) for 400 years Greek people fought for their indipendance, and won. The winning battle took place on March 25, 1821. In modern day times we celebrate Greek Indipendance day, as I sayed before, on March 25.

∙ 12y agoGreece has two independence days. Fist it the 25th of March the anniversary that indicates the beginning of the Greek revolution of the year 1821 towards the Turkish empire. Second, it is the 28th of October when in 1940 Ioannis Metaxas replied negatively to Mussolini's request to take over strategical locations in Greece and as a result the Greek-Italian war began.
