not to my knowledge,except maybe from decllining profits. The Green Lantern Corps ia a special inter-galactic police agency with an arbitrary man(and creature and woman) power ceiling of 3600. Individual members have certainly died in action or of natural causes, Hal Jordan himself had the ( Torch) passed from a dying Green Lantern- from another planet in a UFo crash, as I recall. The lead character , though there are several stand-ins is very much (fictionally) alive. There is an arbitrary personnel ceiling of 3600 Heck this is small potatoes compared to, say the KGB.- They don:t publish statistics as to agency membership anyhow!

If you mean Mr. Jordan, the original modern ( sixties) Green lantern of Earth, No. He had a number of love interests in the story format including Carol Ferris, the bosse"s daughter, Mr. Jordan was in the employ of Ferris Aircraft. This was a fictional California outfit. he was a test-pilot and flew various experimental craft- a real daredevil and technical type- that would be a good super-hero candidate right off. Pieface was an Eskimo who was his only confidant and he kept the casebook of Green Lantern, GL may have met (Pie) at an Air Force Base in Alaska, for example, Look Superman has both friends and associates- male- like Jimmy Olsen the cameraman, and love interests such a Lois Lane and Lana Lang. Unconfirmed reports had it they originally wanted to call her Veronica Lane but somebody thought that might be a little sacrilegious with Veronica being a Biblical character- by the way she (Veronica in The Bible, not Ronnie Spector) is the patroness of- Photography.
