Although the Halo canon does have some biblical refernces such as the Covenant, the Ark, a Halo, ect., it does not have any real spiritual element. It does not put down or offend any religon or any practices, and should not be judged for content for its biblical references, rather for the mild blood/gore, and mild language.
the UNSC stands for the United Nations Space Command, and has no spiritual element or biblical reference
United Nations Space Command
In Halo Wars, only the UNSC and Covenant are playable. However, I think there is a mod being created which adds them into the game.
No you cannot, the entire game, including the demo, you can only play as the UNSC.
In my personal opinion Halo Wars. In Halo Wars you can get a better feel for the Covenant and learn more about the UNSC histoory in the Great War and learn more about its troops.
well the game its self was made in the year 2001 on November 1 the ring its self was found by the unsc in the year 2520
Short answer: bad. In Halo: Reach the Elites (Sangheili) are fighting for the Covenant. This is rather confusing to many players as they were allied with the UNSC in previous Halo games, but keep in mind that Halo: Reach is set before even the first Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved.
Because they -the Elites- are taking over Reach, and you are trying to stop them. This is rather confusing to many people as they were allied with the UNSC in previous Halo games, but keep in mind that Halo: Reach is set before even the first Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved.

go to the game and try every thing you can then figure out that you cant....do you really think the unsc would trust you with a freken pelican
There are 10 weapons in Halo CE. 6 UNSC\Human weapons, and 4 Covenant weapons. There are also 2 grenades, Sticky and Frag.
Yes, multiple times. Cortona is a UNSC serial AI; she is a smart AI created by the ONI, a branch of the UNSC, to provide in-field assistance and information to soldiers. She was assigned to Master Chief due to the restraints of the Cole Protocol, and has contacted the UNSC before and after she was assigned to Master chief. If you are talking about Halo 3, Cortona did not directly contact the UNSC. She left a message fragment in the crahsed flood-infested ship, and occasionly contacts the Master Chief. When she was rescued by Master Chief, she helped out the UNSC until Master chief and the Arbiter escpaed the replacment Installation 04 (the Halo destroyed by Master Chief in the first game). She did send a beacon at their location when the UNSC frigate "Forward unto dawn" was cut by the slipspace portal's collapse, but she did not directly contact the UNSC when Master Chief went into cyrosleep either.
Yes. It uses the same basic story, Aliens attacking humans ( Covenant attacking UNSC ), But instead of playing as one " Spartan " ( A spartan is a super-soldier ), The whole world is a training base for it, It is based before halo 1 and around the same time as Halo Wars. It is a terrific game, 10/10.
