Never ever. Only if Muslims are invaded, by Christians or others, Muslims are required to defend their lands and to defend their people. Otherwise, Muslims are commanded, per religion, to live in peace and harmony with people of all religions, cultures, colors, and races; including Christians.
In Quran there are many verses commanding Muslims to keep kindness and respect to other religions.
In the Quran, Holy book of Islam, God says(meaning English Translation):
" God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers."
[Quran,chapter 60,verse 8]

Many people will say different things, But when looked at in context and with full knowledge, we can see that the Quran allows killing in self defence, but sets clear limits.
God encourages Muslims to fight to defend themselves from oppression, but warns them not to trangress limits that he has set (killing innocents or without reason, spreading corruption etc) because he does not like trangressors.
no no no it all bad .but if your attack by some one the first thing in nature is to stop them attacking you but in not to kill them. im a Muslim and i just want to say Islam and Jews and christians has been brothers for a long time and i think we should be like that . and in the quran it says not to kill people . and the terest are attacking people for power not for religious regions.and become open mined that's peace for lots of people everyone and every thing .
Whatever your religion or beliefs, remember, there is only one GOD and we are all gods children. We were not created so that we could turn on each other. I have read various religious scripture and can find no words that advocate killing. However, there is good and bad in everyone. We are all brothers and sisters regardless of religion.

2:191 actually says "slay them wherever ye find them" I could be misreading this though, but it sure does sound like "Kill all nonbelievers"

Even the strictest and most fundamentalist Muslims do not argue that Islam requires killing Christians. However, Muslims differ in opinion about what the rights of a Christian vis-à-vis a Muslim should be. Many Muslims argue that Christians should not be able to wield substantial political power over Muslims in a Muslim-majority country, such as being a Prime Minister or President. A smaller number of Muslims argue that Christians and Muslims should be unequal citizens where the Muslims have a position of superiority and Christians have a position of inferiority, as was practiced through most of Islamic history and officially or unofficially in most Islamic countries. An increasing minority holds that Muslims and Christians should have equal rights in all matters.
It is worth noting Salafists and Islamists have sanctioned the killing of innocent civilians of enemy non-Muslim states on the basis of warfare against those states. Since many of those civilians are Christians, it is an indirect sanctioning of killing Christians, but it is important to note that it is not their "Christian-ness" that makes them a target but their "American-ness".
