As in the Iran-Iraq War of 1980-1988, Israel is doing its utmost to stay uninvolved in what is happening in Syria (as of 2014). Israel's only interest is in protecting its own borders and citizens, and so far none of the three sides in Syria have moved to threaten Israel (other than through rhetoric).

∙ 9y agoNo. The Syrian Civil War is completely the result of the intransigence of the Assad Regime vis-Ã -vis its citizenry. Israel has stayed completely neutral in the conflict.
