I should think that making a generalization such that a whole country hates something or thinks one way is very narrow-minded. All Japanese people don't think alike or have the same opinions. I'm sure there are some Japanese people who aren't fond of marine wildlife for whatever reason. But there are also environmental activists in Japan who strive to protect said wildlife.
Some of Japan's policies still don't reflect the entire country. Japan has a long history of whaling to the consternation of many environmentally-active countries and groups; however, not all support such actions.
Japan does indeed have a wildlife like most countries it has bears, birds and even monkeys.

The recent Japanese earthquake impacted wildlife, primarily deep sea wildlife, damaging marine ecosystems and fish stock. The earthquake impacted the Galapagos island, and also it affected Lonesome George, the world's most valuable tortoise, the sole Pinta Tortoise, a subspecies of the Galapagos tortoise.

No.
Why did Japan hate Americans
Japan's wildlife is diverse, with a mix of native and introduced species. Some unique species found in Japan include the Japanese macaque, Japanese giant salamander, and the Japanese serow. These animals are adapted to Japan's varied landscapes and climate, making them distinct from wildlife found in other parts of the world.
