Of course Jesus came in the flesh. He was born of a human, namely Mary. He walked among mankind. He talked; he ate; he drank; he slept; he went on boats; he climbed stairs (both up and down). And then he gave his 'body of flesh' as a sacrifice; in-other-words, he died.
