Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses believe there is more than 1 god.

For example, they believe that Satan the Devil is a god, Jesus is a god, money can be godlike to some people etc.

However, they believe there is only 1 God - Jehovah.

While they believe gods (animate and inanimate) can be mighty in power or influence, they believe that Jehovah God is the only Almighty God.

This means that they believe He alone deserves worship.

Other gods are therefore not to be revered but rather either respected, in the case of Jesus Christ, or shunned, in the case of Satan the Devil.

What religion do people usually seek after leaving the Jehovah's Witness when they believe in some of what the Witnesses believe in but just can't agree with everything?

To my knowledge ex-jehovah's Witnesses joint a multitude of other religions. Some choose not to joint another religion at all. I don't believe there is one specific religion that attracts more former Jehovah's Witnesses than another.

How do Jewish people feel about Jehovah's Witnesses?

Answer 1Unless there is some pressing reason, we don't comment upon how non-Jews worship or what they believe; and nor do we proselytize.Answer 2Jews do not see Jehovah's Witnesses in any way different than they see Christians in general, which is that Christians are entirely entitled to their religion and way of life - it just is not the Jewish way. However, since Jehovah's Witnesses proselytize more openly, especially in Jewish areas, Jews have a slightly negative view towards them on account of the proselytizing. If Jehovah's Witnesses did not proselytize to Jews, Jews would have no opinion of them for or against.

Why are Jehovah's Witnesses so boastful to prove they are Jehovah's chosen people?

The person below me couldn't be more wrong if they tried! The are not boastful to prove that they are Jehovah's chosen people. If you think about it, they are out constantly trying to spread the word to all the people but many people choose not to listen and instead say things like the guy below me. God (Jehovah) whatever the name you call him by, loves all.... the Jehovah's witnesses believe that! If you want to know more about this or any religion the best thing you can do is look into the scriptures, they speak loud and clear. "Everybody are God's chosen people. He made us, and he loves us. Not just Jehovah's witnesses. Not wanting to insult them, but they are a brainwashed people who believe God only loves them."- written by someone who is absolutely ignorant Jehovah's Witnesses are not selfish people they wish that everybody learned the good news that is why they are the ONLY!!! ones preaching Gods kingdom around the world in more than 235 countries in more than 180 languages including sign and braille. Do Jehovah Witnesses consider themselves to be the only authentic expression of Christianity?

Actually we consider ourselves to be 'MORE THAN' Christian; - - beyond being simply Christian.Anyone can claim to be Christian. We will allow Jehovah God, and Christ Jesus to judge regarding who are 'authentic Christians'; and those who are 'self-proclaimed' Christians. As you well notice, we do not call ourselves 'Jehovah's Christian Witnesses'. We leave the word 'Christian' out of our designation. Therefore we find no need to respond to a question about authentic 'Christians' or not.Even others, like the questioner, considers us to be 'more than' Christian. That's why others refer to --us-- as: JEHOVAH's Witnesses. By calling us that, they acknowledge what they view us as. They recognize us as JEHOVAH's (authentic) Witnesses. In our house-to-house ministry, when we've asked others if 'they are Jehovah's Witnesses' - - they answer 'NO' with such speed, and so emphatically. They thus deny out of their own mouths being authentic Witnesses of Jehovah God.So YES, both the questioner, and others, do consider us to be the only authentic expression as Jehovah's Witnesses.Likewise we ourselves refer to ourselves as JEHOVAH's Witnesses. We do not call anyone else such. So from that angle also; YES, we consider ourselves to be the only authentic expression of being true Witnesses of Jehovah God.

Why is there a website where Jehovah's witnesses can meet and date if they are constantly cautioned against the dangers of the internet The website is wwwjwfriendsnet?

This is because many Jehovah's Witnesses realize each person has his/her own conscience and Christian freedom allows each to exercise it. The counsel in Watchtower literature is of human origin and shouldn't be considered to bear any more weight than other advice we'd get from human origin. Any Jehovah's Witnesses who consider the Watchtower to be "the mouth of God" are delusional and spreading false beliefs. Additionally, there are more than one of these websites and I met my wife on one.

How many Jehovahs Witnesses are there using WikiAnswers?

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and I know of at least two more, however, that is an ever changing number given the fluidity of this site and it's members. Last year at this same time, it seemed that there were more than there are now.
