They were both called the "son of god." Alexander the great was thought to be the son of Zeus, and he confirmed this thought in Northern Egypt. There is an oasis town called Siwa; in ancient times there was an oracle in a temple in Siwa. Alexander visited the oracle, who proclaimed him the son of God.
