Yes, most definitely. Jupiter is a large ball of gas (biggest planet in our solar system). The weight of all that gas surrounding you, above you, would most definitely crush you.

Our next door neighbour Venus (brightest object in the sky) has an atmosphere of Carbon Dioxide. Due to the run away greenhouse effect on our sister planet, the atmosphere is very thick - lots of gas = high pressure. The atmospheric pressure on Venus is 93 Bar (on Earth it is 1 bar!).

In the 60s and 70s, Russia attempted to send many probes to Venus to send back photographs of the surface - these reinforced metal probes were CRUSHED by the pressure on Venus - a human wouldnt last more than a few seconds on either of these planets!

What atmosphere is so thick and heavy that it could crush a human?

The heaviest atmosphere in the solar system is that of the planet Jupiter. It would be difficult to design a vehicle which could descend into the depths of the Jovian atmosphere without being crushed.

Which planet's atmosphere is so heavy and thick that it could crush a human?

Venus. It's atmospheric pressure is 92 times that of Earth's atmosphere.

Why can't a human stand on Jupiter?

Jupiter's gravity is too much for a human to stand. And they could not survive the temperature or atmosphere either.

Can Jupiter sustain human life?

NO. It has no breathable atmosphere.

Which planet has an atmosphere that is so heavy and thick that it would crush a human?

it's Jupiter, the fifth planet from the Sun, also the largest planet in the sloar system.

What planet atmosphere is so heavy and thick that it would crush a human?

jupiter and venus are the planets that are heavy and thick that would crush a human.

What is the probability that a human can walk on Jupiter?

---- It's absoloutly impossible. 3 reasons are that firstly the planet has an atmosphere that is made up from gases that are deadly poisonous to a human. Secondly, the surface of Jupiter (and just about all of the rest of it too) is gaseous and the only "solid" part is a very small inner core. Thirdly, even if you could find a solid surface to stand on you would still die instantly because the pressure on Jupiter is so incredibly heavy that a human would be crushed and flattened like a ribbon instantly.

Has there been anyone on Jupiter yet?

Jupiter is a gas giant. It is far too dangerous for any human to survive or even enter the atmosphere there. Your answer: No.

Could a human land on Jupiter?

No. Jupiter is a gas planet, so there is no surface to land on.

What would happen if a human lived in jupiter?

well, Jupiter has no atmosphere recorded to sustain life. The ground is recorded to be insufficent to life. So you'd die. Think of it like this, if there is no bactrial life, there is definitely no human life.

Can anyone breathe on jupiter?

Yes, you could breath BUT Jupiter's atmosphere can not support human life, It is mostly made of molecular hydrogen and helium in roughly solar proportions; other chemical compounds are present only in small amounts and include methane, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and water.
